Interviewing actor Mark Haxby

1-. How was your childhood? I was born in Bradford in 1978 I was the first child of Susan and Robert Haxby. 4 years later my brother Lee was born. My dad lost his job and we had to move to a council estate called Thorpedge. We lived in a block of flats called Ailse House, I went to Parkland Primary school and so did my brother. I never really saw my dad in my early years as he was always working away when he got a new job always abroad so I do not really have any memories of him which is sad but I had my mum and brother. Sadly, my mum was an alcoholic and we saw this every night. I would be given a note from my mum and sent to the shop for 2 litre bottles of cider. I remember being 8 years old and picking up a stick and playing army this was the time I realised I wanted to be a soldier. We moved into a house in Idle and things were ok for a while. Then my dad left my mum and we were on our own. My mum went into full alcoholism and it was terrible. Men would come home and d...

1-. How was your childhood? I had a positive childhood overall; however, I struggled with behavioural challenges from a young age. During the 1990s, ADHD was not widely recognised or understood, and children who exhibited such traits were often simply labelled as “naughty.” At the age of eleven, I was placed into a children’s home because my parents were unable to manage my behaviour. Growing up in care was both difficult and isolating. It was an environment shaped by survival rather than emotional development, and there were limited opportunities to experience consistent love, stability, or guidance. At fifteen and a half, I was moved into a bed and breakfast, and by sixteen I was living independently in my own home. I had to mature quickly and navigate adulthood largely on my own, often without clear direction. The challenges, life experiences, and trauma I faced during those years profoundly shaped me — not only as a person, but as an actor. In many ways, this journe...

1. How was your childhood? I’m an only child, raised in a deeply musical and loving household. My father is a pastor and my mother is a music minister — they met in a well-known gospel vocal group in Brazil during the 1980s, and in many ways, I was born into that musical environment. From a very early age, I was surrounded by rehearsals, studios, harmonies, and spiritual music. My childhood was filled with love, but also with strong musical education, especially from my mother. She taught me music theory and introduced me to artists like Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Nina Simone, Sandi Patty, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Elvis Presley, James Brown, Luther Vandross, and Michael Jackson. Music was never separate from my life — it was the atmosphere I grew up breathing. 2. Do you remember the exact moment you decided you wanted to dedicate your life to music? Yes. I was about seven years old when I was invited to join a well-known choir in Rio de Janeiro. Soo...

1-. How was your childhood? It was pretty good. I was raised in two different cultures: Polish and American. My mom is from Poland and my dad is from Wyoming USA which makes me Polish-American. I also have an older brother who is in the computer science field. I also learned that there is a Polish community in the San Fernando Valley. I was back in Poland in August and it felt like a wave of nostalgia cause I haven’t been back there in 3 years since my grandmother passed away. I always remember my summers in Poland. 2. - From what age did you decide to be an actress and how did you know you had the skills to go on TV? I did perform in talent shows with singing from a very young age in elementary school. I’ve wanted to be an actress since I was 9 as a hobby. I did drama in middle school, but not in high school because I was busy with school. I may have the skills to go on screen by how I can project my voice and how I get lines in my head from films, tv shows, and play...

Interviewing actress and singer Kourt Henson

1.-From what age did you decide to be an actress and how did you know you had the skills to act? I’ve always viewed acting as a kind of puzzle, an attempt to understand a person’s immediate wants and their deeper, unspoken needs. That way of thinking came naturally to me. Reading a script, adopting mannerisms, and identifying the essential truths of a character felt instinctive rather than forced. Humans are endlessly complex, and there is always a defining moment or series of moments that shapes who we become. I’ve always been drawn to uncovering those emotional catalysts, to solving the inner puzzle that explains why a character behaves the way they do. Recognizing how easily I could interpret these emotional clues on the page made me realize that acting was something I could pursue professionally. It wasn’t just imagination; it was pattern recognition, empathy, and an ability to translate text into lived emotional experience. 2.-Did your parents support you in the deci...

1-. How was your childhood? My childhood was great for the most part. I was born in Gibraltar, and grew up in a middle-class family. From a very young age, I was obsessed with superheroes. Some of my earliest memories come from stories my mom tells me — I used to dress up as Batman, bottle of milk in hand, and sit watching animated series at home. I was always the kid who loved playing make-believe. I remember being around five or six years old and dressing up with a few friends as Batman, Superman and Spider-Man, just role-playing and creating our own stories. Looking back, I think that was one of the first signs that I had some sort of creativity within me. That creativity carried into other areas as well. I used to write songs, even though music was never really my strong point haha. Recently, I’ve actually been thinking about getting into something like indie rock and possibly forming a band — although I’d need to learn how to play the guitar first. It’s definitely some...

Interviewing model Bella Bond

1.-What inspired you to become a model, and what do you love most about your job? This has been my desire since childhood, but at that time there were neither opportunities nor the right people around who could help me and guide me on the right way. Modeling is not just about posing and taking beautiful photos. There is so much creativity, new acquaintances, crazy situations and locations, traveling to different cities and countries. 2.-How do you prepare for a photoshoot or runway show? What’s your routine like? I always try to keep myself in good shape. A visit to a cosmetologist, colorist, manicure and pedicure is always a must. In the morning, before shooting, I always do some exercise, take a shower, apply a face mask, use a body lotion, and have a cup of coffee. Then I do my own makeup and hairstyle. I always plan my outfits and accessories in advance. 3.-What advice would you give to young girls who want to start a career in modeling?  If you really like it and w...

1-. How was your childhood? When I was four years old, I was diagnosed with an incurable childhood kidney disease. One way I managed to get through it was by focusing on art instead of the illness. I was a creative child with an active imagination, always drawing, painting, writing stories, or making movies with my mom’s video camera. I remember creating characters in my head and building entire stories and universes for them to exist in. I believe this skill has deeply helped me in acting, especially when it comes to connecting with characters. I was a shy child, still am. But there’s something about acting and stepping into a character that removes the walls I normally carry. 2.- From what age did you decide to be an actress and how did you know you had the skills to go on TV? This was something I struggled with for a long time. I wanted to be an actress for as long as I can remember, but I lacked the courage and confidence to fully pursue it. Growing up in the southea...
