Interviewing actress and singer Mulidrey Aurifrd
1. What was your childhood like?
My childhood was full of love and care. I was my daddy's little doll; he was always there for me, which helped me become very self-confident. He taught me that you shouldn't hit a woman, not even with a rose petal.
2. At what age did you decide to become an actress, and how did you know you had the skills for television?
My favorite aunt (Marita) had been an actress, so I came from that artistic streak and had an interest in acting. I participated in school theater from the age of 5. Then, when they saw that I also had a talent for singing, I was invited to TV at the age of 9 to sing with the school choir. From that day on, I knew I was born for the arts, so at the age of 9, I began studying singing and then acting.
3. Did your parents support your decision to become an actress?
Yes, I was always very creative, a very extroverted and fashionable child. At 8 years old, I modeled for the first time in a contest in my community.
My father joked that I was a total diva; it made me laugh a lot.
4. What was your first appearance on screen?
As an actress and in a leading role at 14 years old in a short film called "Real Life Stories."
5. Which role did you enjoy the most?
The villain role, because my physical profile is that of a fragile and sweet woman, so it allows me to make an impact by transforming myself.
6. What do you think led you to fame?
The arrival of social media allowed me to openly show myself to the public, sharing my daily life, in addition to various full-media advertisements for brands, achieving great exposure.
7. What kind of characters would you like to play?
Protagonist, antagonist Pharaoh, Queen, Princess
8. Which actors and actresses do you feel comfortable working with?
With those who give their all to bring their character to life; they make you bring out the best in yourself too. It's the best.
9. In what other artistic genres would you like to participate? (Theater, music, among others).
Besides acting, I'm currently venturing into music as an electronic singer and have released three singles:
"AGUITA DE COCO" (Coconut Water)
It fuses tropical and electronic rhythms, evoking the Caribbean, the sun, the resort atmosphere, and the beauty of the tropics, the sensuality of the Latin woman, and her warmth.
"MUJERON" (Big Woman)
This song celebrates the sensuality and intelligence of the alpha woman and the male desire to possess her attention.
"POR LA NUBE" (Through the Cloud)
It describes the vibe between two beings who connect through the sensory pleasure that permeates a conceived desire.
10. Do you have an anecdote that has marked your life and shaped you as a person?
Yes, during my childhood my mother went through a period of depression, which made me grow up very independent. My father played a fundamental role; he became my world, and I was the apple of his eye. Then, as my father reached old age, he developed senile dementia and memory loss. I had lost him; everything vanished with his memory.
So this affected me so deeply that I plan to contribute to the study of mental health. It's very hard to lose a loved one while they are still alive.
11. What has been your greatest achievement?
Making music and performing my own songs has always been my biggest dream since childhood.
12. What projects will you undertake soon, and what do you have in mind?
To continue developing my personal brand and to continue working on my music, as well as acting and modeling.
13. Would you like to film a movie in Spain?
Yes! Of course, I would love to.
14. Do you like Spanish cinema?
Yes, Spanish cinema is very diverse, from comedies to dramas, and it's growing, thanks to digital platforms.
