Interviewing singer and actress Lisa Marie “Lil Kitty Red”
1-. How was your childhood?
My childhood was an absolute nightmare. I was raised in a very abusive household. My father was in the mafia, and set up my mother’s death. My grandparents were my legal guardians most of my childhood, and when my mom died I was adopted by my aunt, which was also an abusive household. The trauma from my early childhood sent me into drug addiction and I am very proud to share with the world my message of strength and 10 year recovery from heroin. Anything is possible no matter where you have come from.
2. - From what age did you decide to be an actress and how did you know you had the skills to go on TV?
Since I was a young child I daydreamed of being on TV. When I was 3 years clean off of heroin, I suddenly got this deep intuition to become a singer/songwriter and be serious about my childhood dream.
It helped a lot that I took a couple of years of performing arts classes. I took acting classes, music theratre, and voice lessons which really helped me step into my power as a performer.
3. - Did your parents support you in the decision you made to be an actress?
My mother who has passed away is the only one in my family that believed in me from the very beginning. She always told me to “keep singing!” when I was just a little girl jumping on the bed singing into my hair brush. She is my angel now and has been guiding me every step of the way. I really do believe she passed away when I was young as a part of God’s plan to have her be one of my guardian angels as I walked into the spotlight.
4. - What was your first appearance on the screens?
I’d have to say between the time period of my debut music video going viral and me making the news for my music is really when my career began to take off.
5. - What was the role you liked the most?
My music video for my hit single “Please Don’t Let Go” was the most amazing experience. It was truly a dream come true. I loved the character I embodied which basically feels like my soul from my core. A lot of people relate my music video to “Game of Thrones” based on the Gothic, English vibes it gives.
6.- What do you think led you to fame?
My true belief in myself, and only competing with myself. I stay in my lane, and just focus on becoming a better version of myself moment by moment.
7-. What types of characters you would like to interpret?
I have always wanted to play a Vampire role.
8-. What actresses and actors do you feel comfortable working with?
People who are down to Earth, uplifting, and supportive of one another through the creative process. I see it as a team that comes together to create something beautiful. It’s best when everyone has pure intentions for one another.
9-. In what other genres of art would you like to participate? (Works of theater, music, among others)
I know I have the talent to create film scores.
10.- Do you have any anecdotes that have marked you in your life and as a person?
My music career began in Thailand. I took a vacation that was supposed to be 2 weeks, but I missed my flight with no way back. At first it was tragic, and I had no idea what to do. I played my guitar on the streets for water money, and eventually realized that it was a blessing in disguise. Things ended up working out in mysterious ways that supported my music career. I released my first song “Phoenix Rising” which is dedicated to those suffering from drug addiction, and I lived in Thailand for over a year. When I got back to USA, I knew for sure that my whole life had changed for the better knowing that I was absolutely here to inspire the world through my music/acting career.

I made the news on “ABC 23 North Coast News TV” as I released my debut music, My debut music video for my hit single, “Please Don’t Let Go” has gone viral on youtube, I collaborated with a “Rolling Stone India” famous sarod player, my song “Empire” began trending on Facebook reels, and now my music is being played on an England, United Kingdom radio station. It just means the world to me that my dreams have actually come true now, and I’m so excited for what’s to come!
